I am an old timer now. I’ve been around since the days that this was Off Topic and Murilee was still gracing the FP. Kinja has been updated who knows how many times now. Each time everyone claims that this is the end and it sucks. Going to quit and go to x, y or z. And then Kinja gets sorted and we move on with shitposts and bemoaning the death of brown, body on frame, manual, mid engined sportscar station wagons.

So yeah...

Pretty much. I don’t think I have been part of a chunk of the Internet that has been this pleasant for this long. Mostly just an odd collection of folks talking about an odd collection of things, but mostly cars. Works for me.

This normally means that your browser is blocking third-party cookies. It works for oppo because oppo is a kinja.com subdomain, but the mainline sites are not, so when they try to read your login cookie from kinja.com it’s blocked as third-party.

As I mention above, this is normally due to blocking third-party cookies (kinja.com is third-party on jalopnik, but first party here).
